OENONE METAL SCULPTURES

The surface qualities of Oenone’s work involve etching and patination, mainly on copper. The detailed elements designed to draw in the viewer’s eye. Three dimensional pieces are free standing and others are wall hung, miniature pieces become button elements which are forming a new direction in to jewellery. Her direct inspirations are from animals, boats and lighthouses creating them with fun and quirky qualities in various scales and prices, she always finds commissioned work interesting and is hoping soon to make bigger one off outdoor sculptures.
