DOROTA GRABKOWSKA

Dorota’s work is strongly influenced by architecture, which has always been her passion. She is attracted by complex constructions and the beauty of geometric forms. In a design process she finds it crucial to investigate the relationship between shape and structure.
The latest design called knife lamp is the result of a study on pure form and simple but smart solutions. It is a range of laser cut acrylic ambient lighting, supplied with ultra light LED’s for low energy consumption. All components are designed to interlock creating a multilayered, sharp sculpture.
