What started as inventive presents using recycled trinkets has now grown into a specialist business, Sara Newman Design. Several collections have evolved, the main one is upcycled glassware where the aim is to turn plain, unwanted glassware into works of art that people can use, treasure and collect. Sara᾿s designs are sandblasted by hand onto interesting and high quality pieces that she has collected. Sara has also designed a range of cards that are handcrafted using specially made rubber stamps and applied decorative papers. She says "Body art and graphic novels inspire me. Model villages fascinate me. I find colours enchanting"
